Prime Example: way back in 2009, we came across a then-new service called Hubspot, and put it through its paces. Hubspot was—and in a way still is—a great service for getting a business’ online presence live and managing everything about it … all in one place, all for one monthly fee. But on reflection we came out against using Hubspot.

Fast-forward to 2016. One of our clients had started using Hubspot, in reaction to being under-educated about a complex site they’d built in WordPress. Over a few months we got them out of Hubspot and into an even-more-robust-but-easier-to-use WordPress solution. They were able to drop their expensive Hubspot contract—which we’d first renegotiated the terms of to make that possible—and get their website management and digital marketing back on track.
